9. : Did you plan for 2008 again "Summer Magic Proms" at Sudeley Castle? And will you go back to the old venue above the castle or stay on the new place near the carpark? We found the atmosphäre overlooking the castle and the walk through the gardens by night much nicer. But still it was a very good concert and the weather was fine for the first time in 3 years without any drop of rain which was lovely.

Even our 16 month old had a great time enjoying the atmosphere, music and fireworks. Would we go again? Definitely YES
My only suggestion is that booking online was easy but the instructions for ticket collection was hazy and I couldn't find a time from when you were able to collect the tickets, we went early in the day to collect and then had to go back again later in the day, and the person we spoke to wasn't sure when the collection time would be.

5. Score:5 : I would think just about right, although I am always sad when the show comes to a conclusion - sign of a good night out!

6. Score:5 : Did not use any facilities.

7. Score:5 : Departing from the venue was exceedingly easy but this may in part be due to the fact we parked in the diability area and there did not seem to be as many cars as other years.

8. Score:5 : A brilliant night out and the weather held up for us which always makes a change! We all enjoyed ourselves immenseley.

9. : I think the fact that it was in a different field must have had an impact on some in terms of viewing, as the other field used in previous years has an incline. However, totally understandable due to the appalling weather and I think many people must have played a part in ensuring the concert went ahead. Well done to all concerned - have absolutely no complaints whatsoever other than the fact why dont you hold more concerts in the summer - or are the family opposed sometimes? 7. Score:5 : Much easier than we expected although rather surprised to see that vehicles were allowed to be arriving to pick people up at the same time as everyone was attempting to leave. Maybe timing of this could nb improved.

8. Score:5 : ABSOLUTELY SUPERB AND MEMORABLE!! You could have charged double for such an excellent evening's entertainment. The fireworks display was most impressive and a fitting finale!programmes.

9. : During the evening we had need to tell some young children who were playing next to us to return to their parents as the noise was such that they were all we could hear. We had twice asked them to keep the noise down but they were enjoying themselves and didn't seem to understand our problem. The parents had it seems sent them away to play so that they could enjoy their evening in peace! We feel that the venue was unsuitable for very young children (estimate 5 - 8) and would have to seriously consider attending again unless there was a minimum age limit set by the organiser(s) or perhaps a special 'family' area set aside. We were a party of 12 and were all uncomfortable with the situation we found ourselves in. We have nothing against children but were not willing to spend in excess of £250.00 to sit in a 'playground'.

9. : This was our 5th visit to the proms.
I was a little bit disappointed with the choice of music (first half) - not foot tapping as it usually was. The band at the beginning kept us all entertained and of course, the flyover and the second half of the concert was as usual superb - just the first half disappointing. Well Done. Will there be any more venues in the future - may be in the Anglia region.

Bowes, of TEWKESBURY (Event:Sudeley Castle)

1. Score:5 : Parking was easy and not so far to walk as previously

2. Score:5 : The staff were very cheerful and extremly helpful

3. Score:5 : The support band were fie as we tucked into our picnic

4. Score:5 :

5. Score:5 : The duration was just right

6. Score:5 :

7. Score:5 : No problems as we were not in a rush

8. Score:5 : The evening was tremendous, enjoyed by all of our party.

9. : The different location in our opinion was better than the previous year, with the raised stage and everyone on the same level. This provided shelter from the cool winds which were present both years. Perfection would be achieved if the fireworks could be behind the stage but an impressive display none the less. The fly by always brings a lump to the throat.

Turfrey, of TEWKESBURY (Event:Sudeley Castle)

1. Score:5 : Staff very helpful as I had elderly parents with me who were unable to walk very far. Also allowed me to come in, set up table chairs and picnic and then go and pick them up in Winchcombe, where they were waitingat my son's house.

2. Score:5 :

3. Score:5 : Both conductors very entertaining, with interesting and often comical links between each piece.

4. Score:5 : Especially for my parents.

9. : We all found the Flypast very emotional, obviously more so for my parents who lived through WW11 - but one suggestion would be to reduce the volume of the music or have none at all at some point, so the we could hear the sound of the engines. My father commented that the sound of the engines was just as nostalgic as the aircraft themselves for those who remember the war. JT
